On the second day I did an elephant trek and watched a snake show. Good fun!

This is how you get on the elephant. Climb the platform.
 
And we're ready to ride.

And so we entered the jungle

At the highest point we could see down to the coast.

As we arrived for the snake show this PYTHON (see comment below) was being fed its lunch.

snakes in cages. perhaps an off day from performing.
 
This is a king cobra. It was caught this same day. The guys were giving it a trial.

The anaconda is wrapped around our feet. The more you wriggled the more it squeezed.
 
Kissing a cobra! They seemed to like it.
